LIA Committee Members Gay Byrne and Paul Noonan recently met up with members of Lighting Council Australia during the Light and Building Show in Frankfurt.
The purpose of the meeting was for each association to gain insight into each organisation and learn from each other regarding similar situations across both industries. The meeting was both a very friendly and productive one, with each group coming away with helpful knowledge and establishing that many issues encountered were the same, regardless of the distance between the two continents.
At the end of the cordial meeting all four, agreed to keep the lines of communication very much open with an ongoing pledge to work together in the future.
It is envisaged that Paul and Gay will give a full account of their meeting at the next LIA Committee Meeting.
