This seminar is a CPD event organised by the College of Engineering and Built Environment, DIT in conjunction with CIBSE Ireland, SLL and Arup. It will be held in DIT Kevin St, Room KEG-007 on Thursday, 19 October, commencing with warm finger food/sandwiches/tea/coffee from 5.30pm with the presentations beginning at 6.30pm sharp.
The seminar is based on designing interior lighting for appearance and surrounding brightness, rather than designing lighting for functionality and vision only, as is the case at present.
The talk will be presented by renowned international lighting specialist, Dr Christopher (Kit) Cuttle (whom hails from New Zealand). Dr Cuttle is on his swansong European tour extolling the benefits of a new methodology for determining the parameters relating to interior lighting design.
